Retanol Xtreme Screed

Retanol Xtreme floor screeds are ideal for all common floor finishes and compatible with all wet underfloor heating systems. Retanol Xtreme floor screeds are available in various compressive strengths from C40 up to C60 and are usable with polypropylene fibre or mesh reinforcement. Factory produced off-site at dedicated batching plants or mixed by screed pump directly on site, Retanol Xtreme floor screeds are perfect for sites that require an extremely quick turnaround to allow foot traffic and acceptance of final floor finishes or an early compressive strength requirement.

By fulfilling earlier higher strength requirements due to rapid acceleration characteristics and by specifying a site-specific floor screeding system in keeping with programme requirements customers can rest assured that every effort possible is being made to ensure the smooth delivery of your project programme.

By supplying and installing Retanol Xtreme screed throughout the UK and due to our extensive supply network we can install Retanol Xtreme either computer proportioned factory-produced or mixed directly on site. Carrying the operational expertise to undertake both disciplines ultimately enables us to overcome detailed specification requirements and offer our customers a one-stop floor screeding facility.

Benefits

48 hours drying time for tiles
72 hours all other floor finishes
Significant programme savings
Available in C40N/mm² – C60N/mm²
80 – 90% final strength reached in 4 days

80-90% of screed final strength achieved within the first 3-4 days. By also incorporating fibres within the mix a three-dimensional system of secondary crack control reinforcement can be considered as a cost-effective alternative to steel wire fabric traditionally introduced for this purpose.

48 hours for tiles and 73 hours for all other floor coverings, foot traffic after 24 hours.
Approximately 80 – 90% of final strength within the first 3-4 days. Should the screed is extremely thick, or the concrete base has excessive moisture content drying times may be affected. High humidity or low ambient temperatures can delay the drying out process, we ensure the correct floor screed type is specified before works proceed.

Ready-mixed bulk loads in tipper road trucks generally up to 10-20 tonnes. For smaller deliveries or to suit specific access requirements, screed deliveries can also be supplied in bulk bags.

Site mixed sand loads are delivered in tipper wagons or via bulk bags for smaller applications. Cement deliveries where possible are despatched to site via moffett wagon allowing cement to be easily positioned at mixing areas with minimal disruption to the site.

Rapid drying screed characteristic’s include significantly reduced drying times improving final floor finish installation time frames with rapid early strength development and final strength characteristics.
