As a license holder, we are one of only a limited number of floor screeding contractors authorised to install the award-winning admixture. Guaranteed directly by Isocrete for 10 years, Isocrete K Screed can be used in high traffic commercial areas to produce an early drying, high strength floor screed.

Isocrete K Screed is a BBA approved, semi-dry cementitious floor screed that incorporates proprietary additives and installed as a proprietary screed with plasticising and accelerating additive’s that are mixed directly on-site incorporating high strength ordinary portland cement with polypropylene fibres (if required). Standard Isocrete K-Screed is suitable for the majority of commercial and residential applications.

Utilising the addition of polypropylene fibres within the mix enables us to achieve a more cohesive screeding material – ultimately reducing the risk of early shrinkage and cracking. By incorporating fibres within the screed mix a three-dimensional system of secondary crack control reinforcement can be considered as a cost-effective alternative to steel wire fabric traditionally introduced for this purpose.

Allowing approximately 1 week per 25mm of thickness or 4mm per day. Should the screed be extremely thick, or the concrete base has excessive moisture content drying times may be affected. High humidity or low ambient temperatures can delay the drying out process, we ensure the correct floor screed type is specified at quotation stage.

Ready-mixed bulk loads of Isocrete K Screed can be delivered in tipper road trucks generally up to 10-20 tonnes. For smaller deliveries or to suit specific access requirements, Isocrete K Screed deliveries can also be supplied in 1-tonne bulk bags.

Site mixed sand loads are delivered in tipper wagons or via bulk bags for smaller applications. Cement and Isocrete K-Screed deliveries where possible are despatched to site via Moffett wagon allowing the cement to be easily positioned at mixing areas with minimal disruption to the site.

25N/mm2 compressive strength following 28 days. Isocrete K Screed characteristic’s include significantly reduced drying times improving final floor finish installation time frames. Quicker early strength development and final strength confirming to BRE Category A.
