Asked to undertake 6402m2of screeding by HDR Group to this refurbishment project, the overseeing main contractor on the works were ISG. The screeds were installed to a freshly cast concrete base. Installing a rapid drying sand/cement ready mixed, Tarmac Tru Screed 5 the project presented significant access restrictions in terms of screed delivery.
The majority of the screed material was delivered down a ramp entrance using specialist wagons, tipped and then positioned into working areas via screed pump. Our construction manager/s effectively designed the method for screed delivery into working areas working closely with the main contractors – HDR Group/ISG.
