There’s a wide range of fast drying screed products on the market. Retanol Xtreme screed is a rapid drying screed in a class of its own. Retanol rapid drying screed is produced by PCT Chemie providing a fast drying screed with unmatched performance in terms of rapid drying rates and strength. The screed is supplied in either site mixed or ready mixed form.

A fast drying floor screed Retanol Xtreme screed dries within 48 hours to the extent that ceramic tiling can be undertaken. After 72 hours all other common floor finishes can be installed. Insensitive to moisture, Retanol Xtreme is also suitable for wet areas, even permanently wet areas such as changing rooms or pool surrounds.

Retonal Xtreme – Ultra Rapid Drying

Rapid drying, allowing foot traffic after just 24 hours. What’s more, Retanol Xtreme fast drying screed reaches 80-90 % of its final strength after just 3-4 days. The screed reached its final strength of C40 to C60; dependent upon on the type of aggregate used, and a flexural strength of F6-F8.

Retanol Xtreme fast drying screed comes with a TUV certificate recognised under EU standards as a construction product with no negative impact on human health when handled or added into a floor screed installation.

With its extended working life, and a rapid screed drying period, Retanol Xtreme rapid screed is the ideal choice for underfloor heating systems with improved thermal conductivity aided by its early compressive and flexural strength.
